The Diploma in Aviation has been projected to equip you to attain your Private Pilot Licence and Commercial Pilot Licence, for either fixed or circular wing aircraft. Instrument scores are also available along with management abilities by the Aviation colleges. It is two and a half years full time (part time study is also available) course. Diploma in Aviation training offers aviation students with the best potential combination of aviation and management within one set of qualifications.
The Diploma in Aviation incorporates the practice of flying with the theory of management and is desirable for students wishing to have a career in the aviation industry. Candidate who accomplished (12 credits) or better at NCEA level 2 in each of three subjects, including Maths, English and preferably a Science subject (or equivalent) can apply for this course.
