Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Civil Services Examinations for several Government jobs in the state. Civil Services Exam is conducted every year by UPSC in 2 rounds such are Preliminary, Mains. Civil Services include twenty-three services of Government of India and Union Territories. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will declare the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2010 on 23rd May, 2010 for recruitment of the following posts are given below:
Indian Foreign Service (IFS),
Indian Administrative Service (IAS),
Indian Police Service (IPS) etc.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates having a degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification will be eligible to apply for the test.
Age limit: 21-30 years on August 1, 2010.
Important Dates:
UPSC Publish of Notification: December 1st week, 2009
Last date of submission of application form: January 1st week, 2010
Date of Examination: May 3rd week, 2010
